Elle Fanning began acting before turning three years of age. She started her acting profession by playing the more youthful form of her more seasoned sister Dakota’s characters in the miniseries Taken and the film I Am Sam. In 2002, at four years old, Elle won her first job independent of her older sister, Dakota Fanning, in the satire Daddy Day Care.
